Chris was a Music Education Major at Valparaiso University when his Guard unit was activated. He choose to deploy with his unit rather than stay in school. He told us that he didn’t join the guard just to pay for school but to serve his country. His brother (a US Marine) came up with the motto “For God, For Country, For Music” to represent Chris.
