    Nick

Well my Son today over 3 Years since you joined Jesus in Heaven 3 years since I got the worse news of my life. 3 years of pain, and sadness no it has not gotten easier we all still think of you daily all of us. I love you Nick.

I am remembering today some of the questions you asked me I am glad I have those memories. Thanks for leaning on me not being afraid to ask me tough questions thanks for allowing your mother and I to sculp you. Thanks for turning into a better man than I.

We had a awesome relationship I thank God for that I hear the pain in other Dad’s voices and see the pain in other Dad’s who didn’t have what you gave me wow I am so blesses. I couldn’t imagine my pain would have if we didn’t have the relationship we had. It is hard for me to admit and I don’t know why but I know you were proud of me and with tear filled eyes I thank you for that. For a Dad to know his kids are proud of him is a huge huge blessing. I know if God didn’t call you home your kids would of been so proud of you.

You called me you leaned on me you confided in me you trusted me you respected me and you loved me how many Dads would take anyone of those and you gave me all of them thank you thank you so much.

Now here is something I realize, I needed you so much I now realize how much strength I got from you. Thank you for that. I love you Son you are my hero. Thank you God for Nick. I love you both. Here are some song Lyrics I wrote that I imagined you would tell your Family and Friends.
    HEY DAD

Hey dad I am writing to tell you that i heard from God today
He is calling me to Heaven…to heaven to stay
I am not scared for me but worry for you
I know you are proud of me… I am proud of you too
You were a heck of a Dad and best friend
Until we meet again…. We will meet again

You will have questions you will be confused
Just understand my life wasn’t misused
You lost a Son… a Son to war
When you join me in Heaven you’ll understand more
As much as I love you and that is the case
There is no way I would ever leave this place

Tell my sisters to always do there best
Live there life to the fullest and they’ll be blessed
Let them know we will meet again
I’m putting you on the spot because they’ll want to know when
But the answers in God’s mighty plan
Trust me Dad He’s the man…. He’s the man

Oh my brothers For you i have so much to say
Always try your hardest and remember to Pray remember to pray
You always showed me love gave me All kind of joys
I’m so proud of you boys…. so proud of you boys

You will have questions you will be confused
Just understand my life wasn’t misused
You lost a Brother a brother to war
When you join me in Heaven you’ll understand more
As much as I love you and that is the case
There is no way I would ever leave this place

I love you all don’t be sad we will meet again
